✨ Highlights of the Week
🙏 感恩
这周遇到了很多人、和很多人聊天,收获最大的莫过于 – 感恩。
我出生的家庭吧,比较传统。我还记得我爷爷对着我说:“你再怎么成功,我都不会说你厉害,但是别人的话,我一定会称赞。” 当时我是很懵的…
但就是因为这样的潜移默化,我们家人 – 或者说就是我已经慢慢的忘记了怎么感恩、
已经习惯了不去感恩身边爱你的人为你付出的一切。
上周很荣幸认识了一些新朋友,让我重新找到了感恩的重要性。
honestly thinking that this is something i need to be doing, not just simply journaling about.
i’m grateful for:
- this year, i got to meet someone i love
- managed to spend so much time with my loved ones
- managed to see my parents, my grandparents healthy and happy
hoping to have more happy moments in 2026. pray for the best.
blog got some real upgrades
recess week was supposed to be for rest… but i ended up shipping a bunch of features for this blog instead. email subscription, search overhaul (found an XSS bug while at it lol), and a GitHub-style activity heatmap on the /updated/ page.
all of these came from real annoyances i noticed while using my own blog. last week i said “observe, don’t build” - turns out observing my own product counted.
back to school grind
recess week 结束了。Week 7 开始,节奏一下子拉回来了。
交了 TCX2101 Q4.6-4.10(improper integrals),写了 Section 4.8 的 notebook。TCX1004 A1 也开始了,今晚 submit on Canvas。
这周学的都是我去年没学懂的,感觉好特别,感觉人生又重来,给了你一个新的机会、 这次我一定可以把这些不会的都学好!
gym… and injuries
Vinoth signed up for Anytime Fitness! we did a midnight session at City Hall AF together and it was insane. but as i was showing him my form i accidentally hurt my neck… fml. gotta be more careful when i’m demo-ing.
also kept my hypertrophy split going — PPLR (push, pull, leg, res). 周六去了 JB 见家人,还是挤出时间练了。consistency > intensity.
🎤 beatboxing
getting more and more comfortable with btkKpehK ftkKpehK PftkKpehK ftkKpehK now. like i don’t have to think about it anymore, it just flows.
honestly so excited for the june bbx competition.
i can’t wait to be on stage again - to battle, to inspire other people. 🔥
