โจ Highlights of the Week
was a really hectic week for work, both weekends were so packed for feature releases, wow, lovin it. i’m so proud of myself for what i have been delivering at work ๐ฅบ. and this week i kept catching myself in these intense reviews, pushing back on ideas, defending mine, getting challenged, going at it again. and it hit me, bruh, im the one on the other side now. thinking back all the moments from day 1 of being a software engineer being challenged on the codes i wrote, criticised on the UI i designed, watching my code get refactored sitting with my senior till 9pm… all of these unforgettable hard times made me who i am today. and yeah, i might be unknown to the world right now, but i do believe that i still have so much more to learn, to experience, to achieve… but one day when i look back just like how i just did, i would be so grateful. you’re doing so great, jinghui.
i felt this weird gratitude wave hit me while showering, i keep stumbling into the version of life i wanted as things almost always happen the way i want them to, and even when they’re not, i fight to make them what i want. โจ
and… again, again again i fucking hurt my shoulder rotator again ๐ญ smith bench flat press did it, and the worst part is i HAVE been doing rotator warmup (learnt from some big guy in the gym…) but ugh, i think i just didnt fully recover, work weekend kinda ate up all my rest. still completed all the other days tho. as im writing this i can still feel the stretch in my tendon or whatever that is… but it doesnt stop me from getting closer to myself 10 years later.
