✨ Highlights of the Week
02:38 woke up, stomach was twisting like someone is pinching my intestines… kept getting up to go, over and over…
no joke, diarrhea is my worst enemy, and i’ve been so sick before, i didn’t give a fuck, i continued gym, and did the things i love, they didn’t stop me, but man, wtf is diarrhea?????? my strength was like taken away, i was so weak, i couldn’t even control my breathing technique for sets cuz it was cramping bruh… it lasted for like 4 days, and till now, i still get those tiny pinch feelings somehow, i tried to ignore it and focus on what im doing 😭
slowly im starting to admit the fact that we are just souls living in bodies that are counting down.
i will die someday, my body will get weaker and weaker one day, i dont believe there’s gonna be a day when people can be immortal.
because that is why we are living right now, to experience the world, to live a life you want, to appreciate and love the people you love, be grateful for everything you got.
yeah, im grateful that im alive!
fuck diarrhea.
📋 Recap
📚 NUS
- Priced a November trip against the semester’s real shape, and found the same three leave days buy four times the prep runway depending on which end of the free weekend the flight sits
- Set a gate instead of a verdict: nothing gets booked before the TCX2102 midterm result comes back, since that is the honest read on whether those prep days are affordable
🔧 Projects
🏋️ Gym Buddy
- Opened the Lobby, where the day’s finished sessions now show up on the open web under a handle and a generated mark rather than a name
- Rewrote the privacy pages before shipping the feed, and fixed a clause about who can see presence that had been wrong long before this feature existed
- Gave the diet log one-tap chips for what you usually eat at this hour, so a meal saves without a photo
- Put the photo-to-macros digest on its own schedule and cut the wait from five hours to fifteen minutes
- Settled one boundary for what counts as today, and let an open session hold the day so a late workout stops splitting itself across two
- Gave every account a training week to be reviewed against, not just the ones running a strict rotation
- Refused a cycle review whose window overlaps one already written, after two notes each claimed the same days
- Replaced the in-set suggestion chip with a coach line that lands during rest, leaves a receipt and can be undone
- Rebuilt Manage gyms as a pinned map with a door for each one, and flattened Manage plans into one filterable list with a way back from archive
- Let one account carry several sign-in methods instead of being married to the one it was created with
- Made the calendar project rest off how you actually train rather than off the date
🛠️ Tooling and site
- Capped the handoff sign-off at one sentence plus the command to resume, and made that command name the item it just wrote
- Added a scaffolding sweep to the release checklist, so demo stand-ins get found by a grep instead of by memory
💪 Fitness
- Kept a cue and threw out the reason I gave for it: gripping with the outer fingers is worth teaching, but it cannot quiet the biceps, which attaches to the forearm bone and not to a single finger
- Stopped writing weights into a take-home sheet, because a pin number does not survive the walk to another gym, and gave a rule that travels instead: fill the rep range first, add load after
- Cut a movement I had chosen to teach someone where their back is, once I accepted that every way a beginner fails it is a way of removing the back from it
- Found the sprawl in my own block is off-plan rather than in the plan: nearly thirty movements I logged appear in none of the written slots, and three written slots are dead
