finished another package with a client last week, the more people i teach, the more sure i am that i love teaching. it is something that makes time go so fast, like i still remember my first lesson with a client, i was talking so much + he was curious enough to ask a lot, i spent around 3 hours there…

also did a lot of research on the areas that got me curious while prepping for classes, made my hany rambod skill (built off what i found dissecting a 25x olympia coach’s method), and i believe there are always more than one thats learning when one is teaching, both learn.

the past weeks, since it’s still holiday break, i spent a lot of time with fam, went back jb a lot, got to relax more, caught up more with fam, felt loved.

grateful for having such a relaxing week.

building GB is sth i building and having so much fun!!!

📋 Recap

📚 NUS

Registered TCX2004 Application Development and TCX2102 Probability and Statistics for the new term. Only two, because nothing else on offer had its prerequisites met yet

🔧 Projects

🏋️ Gym Buddy

Re-skinned the whole app dark, charcoal and lime, on a new flame mark that doubles as the session progress fill

Replaced the weekly podium with a consistency rank, and added a live count of who is training that names nobody

🛠️ Tooling and site

Gated a build behind a speed test before any feature work, and cut an invented figure out of some copy that nobody had ever counted

💪 Fitness

Tested a student’s back engagement against their own read of it and found the read low, a reminder that people who train alone under-report

Skipped the machine-first progression for someone already solid, and closed out a flaw I had shipped after flagging it as undecided
